After upgrading to Internet Explorer 9, now using Internet Explorer 8 my history shows sites I didn't access and have random add-ons installed
Since i attempted to upgrade to IE9, my history shows numerous filters and other sites that i did not access.
i uninstalled IE9 and still have the problem. at the same time i started getting numerous random IE add-on installer notices with the code BDB57FF2-79B9-4205-9447-F5FE85F37312.
When i cancel it the Windows update window pops up and recommends I check for the latest updates. The only "important" update i have not installed to date is IE9.
Sometimes I ignore the add-on popup until there are several on my screen, then close them with Task Manager.
A few times now my IE8 program starts going crazy and opening multiple window with a blank screen.
I have run a full scan with McAfee Viruscan Enterprise 8.70i and found no viruses, and have runMicrosoft Fix-it as well.
