backup failed but space consumed and i want my space back

sir i just ran backup on my windows 7 ultimte pc
after some days windows automatically started setting backup so i thought it is fine
let windows do what it thinks is best for me
but it showed backup failed and it also consumed some space from my drive f(i set backup in that drive)
so i got angry and deleted all the backup files from disk f
it increased some of my space but still i can't get details about my 15gb which can not be found
 
i checked properties of drive f  like this
 
  it showed 102gb used when i seen properties fro my computer screen
 but when i seen the properties of my files after entering drive f 
it shows 83.6gb
 
 
i have tried disk cleanup , registry cleanup etc
  
 
i do need that space back
