How to Fix a Kernel32.DLL Error? : How Can You Fix

I did an App update and now have the following error message;

C:\\Users\MyName\Appdata\Local\Conduit|BackgroundContainer\BackgroundContainer.dll

This Specific module could not be found.

If I click okay, my computer seems to run okay, but I just want to make sure that I haven't picked something up as I can't anything on this anywhere.

Conduit is malware that uses redirection and parasites on your computer's internet searches.

I just cleaned a Conduit-infected computer a couple of weeks ago and here is how I was successful.

Downloaded MalwareByes (freeware), installed, updated definitions and ran full scan.It took a while but finally came back with numerous infections and I checked them all and removed them.After a while, I was prompted to restart the machine so MalwareByes could complete the quarantine which I did.When it restarted, I opened a copy of each of the browsers (there was IE10 and Google Chrome on this machine) and reset the home pages to what was desired.
Time consuming due to the full scan and quarantine but effective with very little actual effort.

To install drivers and other optional updates

To install optional updates, you need to review and then select them from the list of updates that Windows finds for your computer. Optional updates are not installed automatically.
Open Windows Update by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking All Programs, and then clicking Windows Update.
In the left pane, click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your computer.
If any updates are found, click View available updates.
Select the optional updates that you want, and then click Install. Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
