[Anwsered] Does a processer driver from the System32 folder provide 64 bit service for a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system for an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4200+

Does a processer driver from the System32 folder provide 64 bit service for a Windows 7 Professional 64 bit system for an AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4200+

I installed Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.  The device manager shows the processors are AMD Athlon 64 X2 dual core processor 4200+ and the driver is from Windows/system32/drivers/amdk8.sys, Is this a 64 bit driver?
All indications are that we are running a 64 bit system.  If a 64 bit driver is required, where can I get a 64 bit driver update for this processor.
