I recently purchased a HP pavilion notebook, haven't done much on it.
I cannot download any application from the window store I get some type of error code.
I had contacted HP and did many troubleshooting procedure, still nothing .
Someone please help.
Model is HP pavilion TS 15 notebook.

What is the exact/complete error message you receive in Windows Store?What troubleshooting steps have you performed?
This issue can be caused if you are using proxy settings, incorrect store settings or any pending update needs to be installed on your computer.
I would suggest you to try these steps and check if it helps.
Step 1:
Install all the pending Windows Updates and check if it makes any difference.
To check for updates
a) Open Windows Update in Control Panel by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping
Search (or, if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking
Search), entering Windows Update in the search box, tapping or clicking
Settings, and then tapping or clicking Install optional updates.
b) In the left pane, tap or click Check for updates, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your PC.
c) If updates are found, tap or click Install updates.
Read and accept the license terms, and then tap or click
Finish if the update requires it.

Step 2:
I would suggest you to clear Windows Store cache and check how it works.
a) Press Windows logo key + R
b) Typewsreset.exe on Run window and press enter.
Step 3:
Disable proxy Connection
If you are using any Proxy connection, then try disabling the proxy connection and check.
Follow the steps to disable proxy connection.
a) Click the Gearbox at the top right corner in internet explorer.
b) Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.
c) Click the Connections tab, and then click LAN settings.
d) Uncheck the Use a proxy server for your LAN check box.
e) Click on ok.
Step 4:
If you have installed any third party security program, then I request you to temporarily disable the program and then check the issue.
Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.
In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software.
If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon
as you're done.
If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

1. Access the files on your computer via MY COMPUTER
2. Under the C: drive, access the WINDOWS folder
3. Select the SOFTWARE DISTRIBUTION folder, followed by the DOWNLOAD folder.
4. Delete any files within this download folder.
5. If you are unable to delete these files, open the command prompt (CMD) as the administrator, and type "net stop wuauserv" into the CMD prompt window. Press ENTER. This should allow you to delete the files from step 4.
6. Once the files are deleted, open and run the CMD as the administrator and type "wuauclt.exe /updatenow". Press ENTER.
