can one edit documents that are under the "view synced folders" in the web browser?

I know that if one goes to drives.live.com and then to my documents, and then if you had, let's say, a Word document, then one could edit the document in the browser.
However if you click on the "view synced folders" (i.e.
documents that have been sycned
using live mesh) you have to download them but can't edit it in the browser.
 
Is there a way to edit it in the browser without having to download it and then re upload it to the documents folder?
